CMHI National Evaluation Web Event Training Series: Using Data Dashboards in System of Care Evaluation
Thursday, June 21, 2018 | 1:00–2:30 pm ET
A data dashboard is an information management tool that visually tracks, analyzes, and displays key performance indicators and metrics. Systems of care (SOCs) have used Web-based dashboards strategically to document progress and identify areas needing improvement. Presenters will describe and demonstrate examples of dashboarding in SOCs, including:
- Pennsylvania’s web-based dashboard that is used by the state, communities, providers, care managers, and other stakeholders to track and manage programs, services, and outcomes across SAMHSA grants;
- Pennsylvania Youth and Young Adult Network’s use of the dashboard to build leadership skills among youth and young adults by tracking strengths and challenges on The Everyday Leadership Skills and Attitude (ELSA) Inventory; and
- Utah’s department-wide dashboard that includes a SOC dashboard for public use and an internal dashboard with more detailed outcome data.
